Category:Current StudentsFrom Rodman Scholars ProgramThis page is targeted at anyone who is currently an undergraduate Rodman Scholar. This includes rising first years, for whom we have highlighted a couple pages that we think might be useful. If you don't need our introduction to the topics, simply skip down to the bottom, where there is a comprehensive list of the articles in this category. [edit] New Students (Rising or First Semester First Years)Welcome and congratulations! We're sure that you will have plenty of questions during your early time in the Rodman Scholars Program. For those of you trying to figure out what to take to Charlottesville on First Year Move-In Day and what to leave behind, check out the Things to Bring page. If you are trying to purchase a laptop or desktop for school, look at Computer Specifics or just ask our Webmaster--he/she's usually among the more tech-savvy of the Rodman Scholars Program. If you're registering for courses (or thinking about it), check out the First Year Courses page for an explanation of some of the classes you'll be taking in your first two semesters. Finally, if you have yet to settle into a routine and are looking for some extra-curriculars to keep you busy, please check out the Rodman Council and Rodman Council Minutes pages. The site should give you a lot more information, but basically there is free pizza at the meetings, and everyone is invited. Good luck on your U.Va experience, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask any of the Rodman Council Officers (particularly the Advising Chair). We're always available by email. [edit] Everyone Else (and new students, too...)If you're trying to figure out who's sending you emails, and which email lists you can use, try Rodman Email Lists. If you're looking for information about a class, try the Academics subcategory and then navigate to Classes. Take some time to check out the Rodman Council and Rodman Council Minutes pages to see what the Rodman Scholars Program is planning and how you can get involved. Finally, look around. Use the use the site map, go to the table of contents, or even just type a line into the search bar and see what comes up. If you see information that is incorrect or poorly written, use your Rodman login and password to fix the error(s) -- the "Edit" link at the bottom of this page allows you to make changes to the text. You can create whole new pages by searching for a page title that doesn't exist and clicking the "create this page" option. If you have any questions or would like to make suggestions, feel free to contact the Webmaster, who manages the wiki. Articles in category "Current Students"There are 14 articles in this category.
