The purpose of this course is to teach the Java programming language to students who already know how to program in another language. Because students in this class are already familiar with general programming concepts, the course is more quickly paced and more indepth.

Introduces the basic principles and concepts of object-oriented programming through a study of algorithms, data structures and software development methods in Java. Emphasizes both synthesis and analysis of computer programs.
